THE TOWN WATER RATES AMENDMENT
(BULK WATER)
BYLAW NO. 537, 1997
July, 1997
A bylaw of the Town of Fort Nelson (hereinafter called "the Town") to provide for amendment to "The Town Water Rates & Regulations Bylaw No. 503, 1995" (hereinafter called "Bylaw No. 503").
WHEREAS, the
Council of the Town deems it desirable and expedient to amend the water rates schedule for water usage;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town, in open meeting assembled, hereby enacts as follows:
1. CITATION
(1) This bylaw may be cited as "The Town Water Rates Amendment (Bulk Water) Bylaw No. 537, 1997".
2. AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE "B"
(1) Schedule "B": Water Use Rates of Bylaw No. 503 is hereby amended by deleting the section Rate T1. in its entirety and by replacing it with the following Rate T1.:
"T1. All purchasers of water from the Town's bulk
water dispensing cardlock facility shall pay a
refundable cardlock set-up fee of $30.00
and shall pay $10.00
per 1,000 gallons of water for the first
10,000 gallons purchased in any one
calendar month (1,000 to 10,000 gallons);
and shall pay $7.50
per 1,000 gallons of water for the second
second 10,000 gallons purchased in any one
calendar month (11,000 to 20,000 gallons);
and shall pay $5.00
per 1,000 gallons of water purchased for any
water in excess of 20,000 gallons in any one
calendar month (21,000+ gallons);
and shall pay a $5.00
billing fee per month each time their monthly
rates are unpaid by the end of the month
following the issuance of an invoice
3. EFFECTIVE DATE
(1) This bylaw shall take effect upon its reconsideration, final passage and adoption.

READ a second time this 18th day of July, 2997.
READ a third time this 18th day of July, 2997.
RECONSIDERED, FINALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of July, 1997.
CERTIFIED a true & correct copy of "The Town Water Rates Amendment (Bulk Water) Bylaw No. 537, 1997" as adopted by the Council of the Town.
