Procedure Bylaws

In accordance with Section 124 (3) of the Community Charter, the Town Council, the Northern Rockies Regional Board and the Northern Rockies Regional Hospital Board gives notice of intent to repeal the following bylaws:

• Town of Fort Nelson Procedure Bylaw No.651, 2004
• Northern Rockies Regional Hospital District Procedure Bylaw No.38, 2004
• Northern Rockies Regional District Procedure Bylaw No. 159, 2004

and adopt the following, new Procedure Bylaws on December 12th, 2005:

• Town of Fort Nelson, Regional Council Procedure Bylaw No.694, 2005
• Northern Rockies Regional Hospital District, Regional Council Procedure Bylaw No.42, 2005
• Northern Rockies Regional District, Regional Council Procedure Bylaw No.179, 2005

In general terms, a Council must establish the general procedures to be followed by council and council committees in conducting their business. A number of procedural amendments were required for the new corporate structure of the Regional Council for the Town of Fort Nelson and Northern Rockies Regional District and Regional Hospital District.
