Report all street lights that are out, missing manhole covers and knocked down street signs within the Town's boundaries to Public Works at (250) 774 - 2541, ext: 290 or by fax (250) 775-6014.

Snow Removal Procedures

• Snow removal is prioritized by emergency services, safe route to school, downtown core, service roads, residential streets, light industrial commercial.
• The town uses 3,000 cubic metres of treated sand each winter for sanding streets.
• Sidewalks are cleared in conjunction with the streets
• Paving, pothole patching, crack filling and grading are all part of the annual maintenance program.
• The Landscape Enhancement Plan is the municipal guide for boulevard beautification and parks revitalization.
• Grass cutting, litter control, flower beds, banners, flags, picnic and rest sites are all integrated within the annual summer operations for the enjoyment of all.
